Once the first lesson is out of the way, I can do block bookings at a rate of £90 for 5 lessons.


Travelling to You

I do sometimes travel out to students' homes, but this is at my discretion. Travelling to a lot of lessons eats up a lot of time when I could be teaching and consequently it isn't viable for me to do it a lot. However I will sometimes do so if I can fit it into my timetable, so if you're interested do ask. For this I add an additional charge per lesson from a minimum of £3 if you're within a few miles of me up to £5/£6 if its a little further away.


How often are lessons?

I normally find students make the best progress having regular weekly lessons of one hour (adults/teens) or 30/45 mins (younger children), as it maintains a focus and they have something to work towards every week. However, I appreciate this isn't always possible for either financial or convenience reasons and I am quite flexible. I currently have students who have lessons at the same time every week, others that have fortnightly lessons and others that just ring me every few weeks to arrange something.


Location

I am based on Hathersage Road, Victoria Park, which is just off Oxford Road/Wilmslow Road. It's near the University, next to the Hospital and about 1.5 miles from the City Centre. Consequently its very easy to get to by bus from either City Centre or South Manchester. Once off the bus its about a two minute walk. Its also quite easy to get to by car, and I can give directions when you call.
