I do lessons on three bases; weekly, fortnightly and ad hoc.

Weekly - We arrange a weekly slot convenient for both of us, and that time remains your slot. You are not obliged to have a lesson every every single week and only pay for those that you do have. I just ask that if you are taking a weekly slot you have a lesson most weeks.

Fortnightly - As above, but every two weeks. Where possible I will try to 'pair' you on alternate weeks with another fortnightly student. This means that if you miss a lesson we might not be able to shift it to the following week.

Ad Hoc - Simply contact me to arrange a lesson whenever you are ready. However at busy times these will have to fit around my regular slots with weekly and fortnightly students.

The ideal scenario for most people is weekly hourly lessons. However for children 45 or 30 minutes is usually more suitable. Fortnightly lessons are a good alternative if weekly is too much for time or financial reasons. Ad hoc lessons can work well if you already play to a certain standard, can work independently and just want help with specific things now and again. They are also an option if work patterns don't permit regular lessons.

I am based in the Northern Moor area of Wythenshawe, just off Wythenshawe Road (B5167), near Wythenshawe Park.

I am close to the Wythenshawe Park  stop of the new tramline, and stops for the 108, 109, 370, 18 and bus routes.

If you are driving I am about 5 minutes from Princess Parkway (A5103), the M56 and Altrincham Road (A560).

Please note that, like most private tutors, I have a cancellation policy. If you give me more than 24 hours notice of a cancellation, there is no charge. However if you cancel within 24 hours of the start of the lesson I ask for the price of the lesson to be paid. I hope you will appreciate that as much as I enjoy teaching guitar it is also my livelihood and a scheduled lesson is a commitment that I will be available to teach you for that time in return for payment. A lesson cancelled at short notice leaves me unable to do any other paid work in that time.
